Muir of Ord Group have been providing a service to the Community by regularly picking up litter around their meeting place, the Village Hall., in an effort to keep it looking tidy and hopefully deter vandalism. The Scouts spent a whole meeting attacking the overgrown appearance of the War Memorial and it's surrounds bushes were cut back, weeds removed and moss scraped from the pathway, hopefully those attending the wreath laying on Remembrance Sunday will benefit from their efforts. The Scouts lived up to their motto"Be Prepared" as much of the work was done at dusk! Head torches to the fore!
