Chief Scout's Visit to Ross-shire at Tollie Brahan Campsite 2003
An exciting time for us to have George Purdy, Chief Scout of the United Kingdom call in at Tollie Brahan Campsite for a few hours during a busy schedule of seeing Scouting in Northern Scotland and the Islands.
Instead of thousands at a Jamboree, George Purdy had lots of time with our few hundred - meeting leaders individually and talking to youngsters - indeed a day to remember for everyone there. Our Chief Scout's beaming smile matching the sunny weather.
A great memory of a wonderful day in the memory of lots of excited youngsters, with a very popular Chief Scout
A welcome cuppa at the end of a hectic schedule with Chief Scout George Purdy. Also just in view on right is Chief Commissioner for Scotland at Beaver Scouts Day 2003
