TAIN SCOUTS  EXPLORER UNIT

Our Congratulations to six of their Unit who entered the Scottish Scout Headquarters "EXPLORIT" Challenge 2005

A tremendous achievement for a new Unit in a quiet, mainly rural area of the north east Highlands of Scotland.  The young Explorers were presented with their Award Shield at the National Conference in Aberdeen November 2005

 for the help at the BEAVER 'WOW' DAY in 2006 at Tain for our Area Beaver Scouts to have a real Fun time.

Also to the above Explorers for helping out at our Centenary Parade/ Service in Dornoch.  Special Thanks to Jennifer Robb for carrying our new Area Flag - very much in the spotlight for being one of our Representatives at this year's World Scout Jamboree at Highlands Park, Essex - East Anglia part of England.

Our other Representative to the Centennial Jamboree is Alex Deas from the 1st Avoch Sea Scout Group, who also shared carrying the new Area Flag.
