Over 500,000 Scouts and Guides are expected to participate in the
49th annual Jamboree-On-The-Air (JOTA) and
Jamboree-On-The-Internet (JOTI)
this coming weekend (21-22 October).
The events run over 48 hours and young people can have live conversations with other Scouts and Guides across the world, sharing experiences and ideas with people around the globe - a true Jamboree experience
and not a tent in site!
Find out more about both events at the World Scouting Website at http://www.scout.org/front/index.shtml
If you miss this Event this year check out your local Radio enthusiasts as accepted your your Area to instruct and pass the Activity badge covering the great hobby.
Many County Weekend Events and Jamborees have a "Radio Shack" in operation, and great fun to have a go tuning in to Scouts around the globe
